NetACT is a forum for presenting results of research work and sharing experiences to face the new challenges in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology. It brings together experts from Industry, Government Organizations and Academia from all over India and abroad with vast experience in Design, Engineering and Research.
We would like to invite you to contribute to and participate in the NetACT19, which will be held in Trivandrum, Kerala, India. This 2nd International Conference on Networks and Advances in Computational Technologies (NetACT19) is a forum for presenting the recent trends and new challenges facing the field of Computer Science and Information Technology. NetACT19 will include few workshops in latest trends of Computer Science.
About the College
Situated amidst 17 Educational Institutions in the Mar Ivanios Vidyanagar, just 5 kms from the heart of the city of Thiruvananthapuram, Mar Baselios College of Engineering & Technology (MBCET) stands tall as a symbol of the quest for Professional and Technological Studies set against the backdrop of the serene and panoramic Mar Ivanios Vidyanagar away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. The campus provides the ideal mileu for academic pursuits.
The aesthetically designed buildings in nine blocks spread over the campus have a total built-up area of over 32000 sq. m. An eco-friendly infrastructure concept, causing least disturbance to the landscape has been executed. Rain water harvesting has been implemented right from the beginning of the College. Each block is connected by Pedestrian Bridge, retaining the separate entity of each branch of Engineering, Chaitanya - The Administrative block, Thejus - The Academic Block, Nalanda - The Library, Yantra - The Mechanical Engineering Block and Nirmithi - The Civil Engineering Block. Olympia, houses the Amenity Centre, Auditorium, Food Court, Indoor Courts, Gymnasium, Placement Rooms and so on.
About the Department of Computer Science & Engineering
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in 2002, with the objective of imparting quality education in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. With rapidly evolving Technology and the continuous need for innovation, the Department has always produced quality professionals, holding important positions in Information Technology and other Industries in India and abroad.
Thiruvananthapuram, also known as Trivandrum, is the capital and the largest city of the Indian State of Kerala. It is the most populous city in Kerala . Located on the west coast of India near the extreme south of the mainland, Thiruvananthapuram is a major Information Technology hub in Kerala and contributes 55% of the state's software exports. Referred to by Mahatma Gandhi as the "Evergreen city of India", the city is characterised by its undulating terrain of low coastal hills.
